Against the backdrop of its 40th anniversary, UMBC commissioned a special section in the Baltimore Sun to showcase the success and achievements of its alumni.

The full-color, eight page tabloid featured alumni profiles, congratulatory ads, and a comprehensive Q&A with UMBC President Freeman Hrabowski. In addition to building awareness among members of the general public, the section’s overrun was used for marketing purposes throughout the anniversary celebrations.
