With a comprehensive web presence and an array of high-level print materials, Loyola College in Maryland sought a more targeted approach to building awareness of its individual graduate programs through updated print, web, and electronic media.

Loyola serves as a major center for educational opportunities in the Baltimore-Washington region, with more than 3,400 graduate students pursuing over 100 degree, certificate, post-degree, and professional enrollment options. The current Graduate Admissions web platform provides multiple levels of functionality but the limited internal resources could not adequately take advantage of the unique and varied opportunities for customization. Mini brochures were developed to highlight specific degrees

and specialties within programs, e-newsletters were designed and written to keep prospective students informed of the latest program enhancements, and individual profiles of students, faculty, and alumni were crafted to provide a “slice of life” perspective. Plans are currently underway to enliven the Graduate Admissions website with more current information provided in an up-to-the-minute format attractive to today’s students.
